Dr. Diesburg's 12 Days of Giving! Day 11: AAYC

Dec 21, 2015

We are spreading the love this holiday season in our 12 Days of Giving! For Day 11, 11 Pipers Piping, we're donating on behalf of our practice, patients and staff to the Arts Alliance of Yamhill County!

 About AAYC

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health. Today, we are an association of hundreds of local affiliates, state organizations and volunteers who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.

NAMI relies on gifts and contributions to support our important work.

The Arts Alliance is a non-profit arts organization that strives to advocate, educate and promote all forms of the arts in Yamhill County. The AAYC sponsors a variety of arts activities that distinguish our part of Oregon, including the Art Harvest studio tour, the Lavender Festival Plein-Air Paint-Out and art show, the Paper Gardens writing competition and publication, and the Arts Alive program on McMinnville public access channel 11. The Arts Alliance also sponsors arts scholarships in the schools, has published a directory of area artists in all fields, publishes a quarterly arts newsletter, and has contributed financial support to other arts programs in the county.

Donating to AAYC is easy. Simply send your check to: AAYC, PO Box 898, McMinnville, Oregon, 97128.

We are so thrilled to be able to support the work of this great organization, which is helping to ensure Yamhill County is a place where arts thrive! Check back in tomorrow to see who's next in our 12 Days of Giving!
